The terms and conditions that govern your use of the research assistant service.
Nature of the service and its limitations
The research assistant is an information and research organisation tool for private investors. It is designed to help you gather and structure investment-related information, examine assumptions, compare scenarios and develop your own independent view. It does not provide regulated financial advice, does not manage investments on your behalf and does not execute transactions of any kind. Nothing produced by the assistant should be construed as a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment.
You acknowledge that investment decisions involve risk, that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and that the assistant cannot predict market outcomes or guarantee the accuracy of any information it presents. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make, and we strongly encourage you to seek advice from a qualified financial adviser before making significant investment decisions, particularly if you are uncertain about the suitability of an investment for your circumstances.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for your own personal investment research purposes. You may not use the service to provide financial advice to others, to redistribute or resell research outputs, to attempt to circumvent any security measures, or for any purpose that is unlawful or that violates these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe that you are using it in a manner that is harmful to other users, to the integrity of the service, or in violation of these terms. We will endeavour to notify you before taking such action except where immediate action is necessary to protect the service or other users.
Intellectual property and changes to the service
The content, design and technology that make up the service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written consent. Research notes and analyses that you create using the service remain yours; we claim no ownership over the content of your personal research sessions.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
